Solar thermal energy systems capture the heat of the sun and use it to heat. The system works even when it's cloudy. It’s a good way of reducing energy consumption up to 30%. The way the system works is that once the solar fluid of the solar collector is hotter than the water in the hot water tank, the solar station pumps solar fluid from the collector to the tank where it heats the water. After the hot water is heated, the solar fluid is sent back to the collector to absorb once again the solar heat.
