Engraved photographs in concrete.

Material composition: concrete
Product's information: The photograph is engraved into the concrete with a computer-based method which transfers the image data onto a layer or sheet of the material thanks to a milling technology that consists on converting into a 256 gray scales the scanned image. The transferring of the image onto the material is due by a machining file that identifies the gray values which are individually related to a specific milling command for a CNC milling machine. The milled module is used as mold for casting the elastic Photo-Engraving formliners. Their elasticity, quality and reusability make the recreation of the image onto the concrete surface possible.
Green attributes: United States Green Building Council (USGBC) member. Concrete has a high value of recycled content which could make a project earn credits for the Material and resources section of LEED .
